SYSTEM - SELECTION OF COMPONENTS

Bug Slayer licensed representative will examine the area to be protected by the system. We will determine any specific needs you may have in designing a system to eliminate your mosquito and flying insect problems. Here in Florida we have some unique situations with an abundance of surface water, heavy vegetation and a semi-tropical climate with an extended rainy season.

CUSTOM DESIGN

Every Bug-Slayer® Mosquito, No-see-um, Insect Automatic Mist Delivery Control System Control System is designed on-site to give maximum protection. The system consists of components including a combination of direct and angled nozzles to provide complete perimeter coverage. We may utilize fence lines, trees, pool cages or house exteriors to develop the coverage needed for complete protection. 

INSTALLATION

Once a system is designed and approved by the property owner, we will install it in a single day in most cases. Our commitment is to install the system with the least disruption to the surrounding environment. We run all high pressure tubing either underground or along ledges and building faces to keep it as 'invisible' as possible. The reservoir will be placed in an unobtrusive area where there is an 110V AC outlet. 

INSPECTION AND SERVICE SCHEDULE

The Bug-Slayer® Mosquito, No-see-um, Insect Automatic Mist Delivery Control System will be inspected and tested thoroughly upon installation. We will then re-inspect the system and adjust fluid levels and the run frequency of misting after one week.

Why Use The Bug-Slayer® Mosquito, No-see-um, Insect Automatic Mist Delivery Control System ?

Insects are a headache for most everyone. The methods used range from - bug lights to parasites. None of these methods are ever consistently effective. Along with that, most methods of insect control are labor intensive requiring an individual to take time out of a busy schedule. Simply put, conventional methods of insect control are usually not done on a timely basis.

Insects on the other hand are very consistent. They become active as soon as weather permits. This means that as the temperature warms up, they start reproducing. One typical female adult fly lays from 250 to 1250 eggs in a two to five week period. From the time the egg is laid to the formation of an adult is 9 to 43 days, depending on temperature an moisture conditions. Multiply this times the number of flies in a typical barn on a hot day and the resulting population is the cause of most fly problems.

The Bug-Slayer® Mosquito, No-see-um, Insect Automatic Mist Delivery Control System  answers the problem of ineffective, labor intensive insect control. Being an automatic system, the ultimate sprays any facility on a regular preset schedule. The Bug-Slayer® Mosquito, No-see-um, Insect Automatic Mist Delivery Control System engulfs the facility with insecticide spray in about 1 minute, not allowing the flies to escape, as they do with other methods. Using this technology, plus effective, safe, water based insecticide, The Bug-Slayer® Mosquito, No-see-um, Insect Automatic Mist Delivery Control System controls insects by killing a larger number each time it sprays, thus breaking the insects breeding cycle.

As with any method of insect control, when used in an animal setting, The ultimate system should be used in conjunction with good manure management, moisture control and general farm sanitation.

WARRANTY

ONE YEAR PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY

Bug-Slayer® Mosquito, No-see-um, Insect Automatic Mist Delivery Control System. This includes reservoir, timer and pump (air-mist system), nozzles and tubing and hardware. Warranty is valid only if all service, maintenance and repair is carried out by Bug-Slayer. Any damage caused by a third party or property owner, vandalism, abuse, acts of God will be repaired at property owner expense. Any repair or maintenance performed by a third party will void the warranty. 

An Extended Warranty may be purchased. Ask for Details. 

HOW THE BUG-SLAYER® MOSQUITO, NO-SEE-UM, INSECT AUTOMATIC MIST DELIVERY CONTROL SYSTEM WORKS
The unit/drum must be placed in a garage or similar location, protected from the weather. Weather proof units are available at a higher cost. The nylon tubing is attached (outside) under the eaves of your home. The tubing can be painted to match the existing color of your eaves. On new construction, the tubing is placed in the soffits out of sight.

The Nozzles are installed approximately 8 to 12 feet apart, depending on the design of your structure. The pump/motor (on top of the tank) forces the solution through the tubing and out the special nozzles.

The special solution comes out the nozzles in a fine mist. The drum is filled with a Permethrin or special solution. You can set the automatic timer so the system will come on 2 to 4 times each day/ night or have a remote control..

The unit plugs into a 110 outlet and requires no special plumbing. The manufacturer indicates that the equipment works best when softened water is used. The solution kills and/or repels insects, including Mosquitoes, No-see-ums, Fleas, Spiders, Wasps, Ticks, Flies, and more.

Permethrin solutions have been used in agricultural and equine applications for a quarter century. To our knowledge there is NO SAFER or MORE EFFECTIVE product available for mosquito and insect control.
